EXPERIENCE THE MIDNIGHT SUN FROM THE KAYAK!
There is little that is more beautiful than experiencing the midnight sun while you are out in the middle of the fjord. Nature becomes increasingly calmer as the day progresses, and being able to see the sun hanging just above the horizon is a moment you won't soon forget.
The paddling trip begins with a brief introduction to paddling and safety instructions given by the guide of the day. Then everyone puts on drysuits, before you head out on the (hopefully) calm water. Both the sea and the wildlife calm down at this time of day, so it often becomes a very relaxing paddling experience. The guide will take you to one of the best places to observe the midnight sun.
After paddling for an hour, you can stop at one of the idyllic beaches in the area, where you can take a stroll along the shoreline before sitting down to share a pleasant meal and good conversations with the rest of the group. When you have relaxed a bit here, it is time to take the trip back to the starting point, where the trip ends.
Education and safety
Our guides are certified by the Norwegian Paddling Association and will show you tips and tricks on both single and double kayaks, in addition to ensuring safe and secure paddling for our guests.
Of course, we always bring the necessary safety and rescue equipment, as well as a VHF radio for emergency communication for our guests' safety.
